**Job description**:

- Guarantee compliance of Automotive System-On-Chips (SoCs) to ISO 26262 for Functional Safety and ISO 21434 for Cybersecurity by handling Functional Safety and Cybersecurity architect and Project Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Management roles.
- (1) Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Architect role:

- (a) Co-develop SoC Functional Safety and Cybersecurity concept with stakeholders (Systems, Marketing, Customers) focusing on SoC features and customer use cases.
- (b) Propose low-cost Functional Safety and Cybersecurity architectures targeting highest Safety and Cybersecurity requirements (ASIL-D and CAL-4) for ADG SoCs.
- (c) Technical guidance to Project teams on effective implementation of hardware Functional Safety and Cybersecurity.
- (d) Lead Functional Safety and Cybersecurity analysis for ADG SoCs in order to analyze Functional Safety and Cybersecurity integrity of device architecture and creating and delivering SoC Functional Safety and Cybersecurity work products to Customers and supporting them in usage of those deliverables.
- (2) Project Functional Safety and Cybersecurity Management role:

- (a) Develop and maintain project Functional Safety & Cybersecurity plans including coordination and tracking of all activities across all phases of the project, and their integration within the overall project plan.
- (b) Schedule Functional Safety and Cybersecurity confirmation measures (review, audit and assessment) to the level of independence specified in the project Functional Safety and Cybersecurity plans.
- (c) Report regularly to SoC project leader by creating project Functional Safety and Cybersecurity dashboard and laying escalation paths to foresee and avoid delays, also interfacing with ST customers on Functional Safety and Cybersecurity project life-cycle to support system level Functional Safety and Cybersecurity assessments.
- (d) Requirements Engineering via traceability of requirements from Architecture definition through development to final testing stages.
- (e) Promote proliferation of a strong Functional Safety & Cybersecurity culture via internal and external presentations, discussion forums, etc.

**Profile**:

- Strong knowledge of Functional Safety and Security architectures, preferably of semiconductor domains
- Proficiency with ISO 26262 and ISO 21434 with the ability to map Cybersecurity requirements to design architectures
- Understanding of Functional Safety structures, countermeasures, etc. and Security algorithms (AES, RSA, SHA, CMAC etc.)
- Knowhow of performing Functional Safety analyses and creation of ISO 26262 oriented work products (FMEDA, DFA, FTA, etc.) of Cybersecurity analysis and ISO 21434 oriented work products (TARA, VARA, etc.)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate to all stakeholders to maximize efficacy for the project
- Team player attitude within a diverse and multicultural environment
- Strong work ethics, time management skills and ability to multitask
- Technical troubleshooting and demonstrated problem solving skills
