Position: Content writer (Malayalam & English)

Location: Trivandrum, Kerala

Type: Full-Time

Role and Responsibilities:
As a Content writer at MediaMate, you will be an essential part of our creative team, responsible for crafting compelling and persuasive content in both Malayalam and English. Your words will shape our clients' brands and tell their stories in a captivating way across various mediums, including print, digital, social media, and more.

You will:

- Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and other team members to conceptualize and execute creative advertising campaigns that resonate with the target audience.
- Write and edit copy for a wide range of materials, including advertisements, headlines, taglines, scripts, social media posts, website content, blogs, and more, ensuring consistent messaging and brand voice.
- Research industry trends, target audience preferences, and client specifications to develop insightful and impactful content strategies.
- Adapt and localize existing content to effectively communicate with the Malayalam-speaking audience, while maintaining the original intent and brand identity.
- Revise and refine copy based on feedback from clients, team members, and stakeholders, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to project goals.
- Stay updated on emerging language and cultural trends to create culturally relevant and resonant content.

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in both Malayalam and English languages, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Proven experience as a Copywriter, Content Writer, or similar role, preferably within an advertising or creative agency setting. (Freshers can also apply)
- A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples, highlighting your ability to create compelling and persuasive content in both Malayalam and English.
- Excellent attention to detail, grammar, and proofreading skills to produce error-free and high-quality content.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Creative thinking and the ability to develop unique concepts that align with client objectives.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software and tools used for copywriting, content creation, and project management.
- A passion for storytelling and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
