**Job description**

Conduct regular safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to identify potential hazards.
Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure that safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
**Hazard Identification and Mitigation**:Identify potential safety hazards and risks in the workplace and recommend appropriate measures to mitigate them.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Analyze data and trends to proactively address emerging safety concerns.
**Training and Education**:Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Conduct safety orientation for new hires and provide ongoing training to promote safety awareness.
Ensure that employees are equipped with the knowledge and tools to perform their work safely.
**Safety Policies and Procedures**:Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
Regularly review and update safety documentation to reflect best practices and regulatory changes.
**Emergency Preparedness**:Participate in the development and testing of emergency response plans and procedures.
Provide guidance during emergency situations and coordinate evacuation procedures as needed.
**Communication**:Communicate safety-related information and updates to all levels of the organization.
Collaborate with management to ensure safety objectives are aligned with overall company goals.
**Reporting and Documentation**:Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
Generate regular reports on safety performance and trends for management review.
**Qualifications and Experience**:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
Relevant certifications in safety management (e.g., CSP, CHST, CIH) are preferred.
Proven experience as a Safety Inspector/Engineer in a similar industry.
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and best practices.
Strong analytical skills to identify potential hazards and assess risks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.

**Salary**: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
