Academic Counsellor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Academic Counsellor to join our dynamic team at our edutech company.As an Academic Counsellor, you will play a vital role in guiding students through their educational journey. You will be responsible for providing personalized guidance and support to students, helping them make informed decisions about their academic pursuits. Your expertise in the education industry will be invaluable in assisting students with course selection, career planning, and overall academic success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personalized academic counselling to students, understanding their unique needs and aspirations
- Assist students in setting realistic goals and developing action plans to achieve academic success
- Guide students in course selection based on their interests, aptitude, and long-term career objectives
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in education and provide relevant information to students
- Help students navigate through educational programs, including admissions processes and financial aid options
- Monitor student progress and provide ongoing support throughout their academic journey
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions for future reference
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance counselling skills and knowledge

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Prior experience as an Academic Counsellor or similar role within the education industry
- Familiarity with different educational systems, programs, and curriculum standards
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse student populations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using technology and educational software
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to ₹33,000.00 per month
