The Role
- Oracle Database Installation, Configuration, Upgradation, Patching, VA closure.
- Administer databases running on RAC in Exadata environments.
- Analyse the Logs and troubleshoot the issue and resolve
- Automate Manual Tasks for efficiency improvement.
- Performance Tuning
- Perform health Check and ensure successful execution of Daily BAU Tasks
- Prepare and maintain up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Resolve Incidents as per SLA and provide RCA
- Analyse the Current Database Environment, provide recommendations for improvements as per standard practices and implement the changes following change management process.
- Build DR Environment. Ensure DC / DR Databases are equivalent in configuration and perform DR drill and testing as per requirement.

Who You Are

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Should have hands on experience on Oracle RAC, ASM, Datagaurd.
- Proposes and implements enhancements that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
- Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products.
- DR switchover & fallback experience is must.
- Good knowledge of Oracle Database Architecture.
- Experience in working with RAC databases.
- Experience in working with multi-tenant databases.
- Experience with performance tuning.
- Experience with database backup, restoration, refresh using Recovery Manager (RMAN)
- Experience with database, schema, table level refresh using data pump.
- Experience with software Installation and Creation of 12c & 19c Databases on RAC and Non-RAC environments.
- Hands on experience in RAC (Installation and upgradation)
- Experience with database upgrades.
- Experience with cross-platform database migrations.
- Experience in working with Exadata machines and databases running on them.
- Experience working with ASM storage.
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c / 19c.
- Experience with design, set up and maintenance of data guard environments.
- Experience in writing shell scripts will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ready to provide 24X7 Support

Preferred Expertise:

- Certification of on Oracle Administration like OCP or equivalent.
- ITIL Certification
- Working expertise on cloud like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud would be added advantage.
