**Responsibilities**:

- **Review Piping Drawings**:

- Thoroughly examine piping drawings, isometrics, and schematics to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Identify and rectify discrepancies or errors in piping layouts, dimensions, materials, and symbols.
- **Adherence to Codes and Standards**:

- Ensure that all piping designs adhere to relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Keep abreast of the latest developments in piping design codes and incorporate updates into the checking process.
- **Coordinate with Engineering Team**:

- Collaborate with piping engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to address design issues and provide constructive feedback.
- Communicate effectively to resolve discrepancies and ensure design alignment with project goals.
- **Quality Assurance**:

- Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to guarantee the accuracy and reliability of piping documentation.
- Conduct thorough reviews of materials, specifications, and fabrication details related to piping systems.
- **Documentation Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of checked drawings, ensuring proper documentation and traceability.
- Generate reports highlighting findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the piping design checking process.
- Propose and implement best practices for piping design quality assurance.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Piping Checker in an engineering or design environment.
- In-depth knowledge of piping design codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in using piping design software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, PDMS, CAESAR II).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
