**What you will do**

In this vital role you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Oder to Cash solutions (Order management and Billing, Warehouse management, distribution and logistics) across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. This role focuses on demonstrating SAP technologies to streamline and enhance OTC processes, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry standard methodologies. As an SAP Solution architect, you will work closely with operations IT and business collaborators to gather requirements, design, and configure solutions, and provide post-implementation support. This position requires deep expertise in SAP SD and GTS with a solid understanding of WM/EWM, TM and Shipping functionalities.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Design, configuration, and optimization of OTC processes (Order management, distribution and logistics, warehouse management and transportation management)
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD and other SAP modules (MM, FI, PP, TM, ATTP, GTS, EAS, Vistex and EWM) as well as third-party systems
- Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies
- Oversee creation and maintenance of critical documentation such as functional designs, test cases, and user manuals. Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulations.
- Participate in ERP implementation projects, including blueprinting, gap analysis, testing, go-live, and post-production support.
- Lead/Oversee and mentor other architects and team members to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services
- Develop innovative solutions that drive speed to value via AI/ML and leading control practices

**Basic Qualifications and Experience**:

- Master’s degree with 8 - 10 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP SD, GTS, WM and TM
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 - 14 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP SD, GTS, WM and TM
- Diploma with 14 - 18 years of SAP implementation experience in SAP SD, GTS, WM and TM
- Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing sales, delivery & billing document types and Item categories, contracts and pricing, ATP, export controls, output determination, credit Management, EDI/IDOC integration with 3PL’s, Inter and Intra company STO’s
- Solid understanding of Global trader service, distribution and logics, warehouse management process.
- Ability to design and implement solutions based on business requirements, including debugging and root cause analysis.
- Experience in creating detailed documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and compliance reports.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of Transportation management and ATTP.
- Experience with integrating SAP SD with other SAP modules like Sales force, Vistex, Model N and ATTP.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software delivery and process improvement.

**Professional Certifications**:

- SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP S/4 Hana Sales and Distribution
- Agile Certified Practitioner (preferred)
