An outstanding opportunity to join us as we are looking for an experienced professional for the position of IT Controls Testing Quality Assurance executive. The role is to perform independent quality assurance of the bank-wide information technology (IT) and information security (IS) controls testing.

The primary objective of the role is to conduct Quality Assurance of the IT Control Effectiveness Testing that has been completed by the outsourced managed service. In the interim whilst an outsourced managed service for IT&IS controls' testing is setup, this role will also be expected to perform an in-house controls testing function. This will include regulatory assurance activities such as SOX and BCBS239. It would cover the end-to-end IT controls testing lifecycle from approach, scope definition, through effectiveness testing, to attestations.

The managed service will be selected to undertake the end-to-end IT controls testing lifecycle. The Quality Assurance executive is responsible for ensuring that the testing outputs and conclusions meet the expected standards set by Credit Suisse by established Policies, Procedures and Processes and that the results have been recorded and retained appropriately to fulfil the ambition of ‘test once, use many, the highest quality’ principle. Support is also required to be provided to the overall Quality Assurance lead as they liaise with senior leadership across the IT, CTOO and Finance organisations globally, and external assurance providers and audit teams and, as part of this, reporting support will be required to be provided relating to status of testing, IT control gaps and thematic issues across the organisation.

You will work within the IT Controls Quality Assurance team within a central IT Risk and Control capability reporting to the Quality Assurance lead under the overall leadership of the Head of IT Risk and Control, who reports directly to the Head of CTOO Resilience, Governance & Risk and ultimately the Group CTOO, The vision for the newly established capability is to build, embed and sustain the safe, effective and efficient management of IT risk, respond proactively to the changing regulatory and threat landscapes, protecting customers and colleagues, and giving the business confidence to make timely, informed decisions at pace.

**Your skills and experience**

We are looking for:

- Experience of IT control effectiveness testing, including SOX and testing relating to other external testing requirements, across any of the three lines of defence (LOD), or as an external auditor, preferably in the Financial Services industry
- Ability to work independently and review & challenge processes, outcomes and assumptions in order to improve the overall risk assurance
- Ability to learn and observe potential risks and issues and incorporate those within the Quality assurance procedures
- Experience in the review of documentation, quality assurance processes that have required strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Experience in communicating control issues and impact to the IT teams and the business across divisions and geographies
- Helping them understand of the impact of control issues on the broader IT risk and control environment
- Knowledge of IS/IT control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices including professional qualifications and certifications (e.g. COBiT, ITIL, COSO, CISA etc.)
