The DWS Real Estate Property Controlling Team is responsible for the controlling of property management services of the European real estate investments together with the local asset managers.

**Your key responsibilities**
- Ensuring compliance with contractually owed services of Property Managers through active KPI management and quality assurance measures.
- Maintain various excel-based KPI trackers, continuously measuring and interact with property controlling team, asset management and property management teams.
- Audit and release of property management performance statements including settlement of bonus-malus performance calculations.
- Monthly review and approval of the revenue and loss statements prepared by property managers on property level, liaise with property managers in case of errors.
- Controlling of annual operating expense reconciliations, settlement of funding requests, control of rent receivables management.
- Quarterly review of asset reports prepared by the property managers, spot check of the reports.
- Support asset management in preparation of annual year end closing by collecting and distributing information on value adjustments and provisions.
- Review, approval, and accounting of property related invoices, such as property insurance related invoices, funding liquidity requests.
- Collection and review of quarterly Service Delivery Attestations and biennial Property Managers Risk Attestation.
- Collaboration with local asset management in tendering, awarding, transferring and managing property management contracts.
- Provide ad-hoc support to colleagues, clients, benchmarks, and other stakeholders.

**Your skills and experience**

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-graduate or international equivalent experience.
- Prior relevant work experience of 2-3 years.
- Very strong analytical skills.
- Real Estate knowledge and in planning and control instruments or experience in property management is an advantage.
- Excellent English skills.
- Good knowledge of another European language (e.g. French, Spanish, Italian, Polish) would also be an advantage.

**Competencies**:

- Highly motivated and self-sufficient, with a strong willingness to take on new challenges.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with strict attention to detail.
- Diligent and able to manage multiple conflicting deliverables under strict deadlines.
- Comfortable in a numerical technical environment and with the general mathematical concepts of finance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
- High level of comfort in dealing with different local offices in Europe, APAC and the US.
