**The Role**: IT Project Specialist II/ PMO project Coordinator

**The Impact**: The VMO Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all vendor management activities at Commodity Insights supporting technology and data teams. They will partner with Corporate Global Vendor Management and Procurement office to ensure Commodity Insights adheres to corporate and S&P Global standards, policies, and procedures. This individual will also work very closely with finance team to support financial planning, analysis tracking and reporting on Technology spend.

In addition, the VMO coordinator will be responsible for all vendor management tasks and responsibilities including vendor set up, mgmt., procurement, invoice reconciliation, and SOW process

**The Team / The Business**: Commodity Insights Agile Project Management Office (PMO) office team sits at the center of Commodity Insights technology and supports Technology, Product Management, Content, Commercial and Analytics teams. **Responsibilities**: The following will be the major responsibilities for this role:
Support all vendor management and procurement activities for IT and Data teams globally Partner with Corporate Teams on new vendor setups and reviews
Work with Corporate team on order approvals
Work closely with Tech/Data team to manage the software renewals on timely manner
Support the monthly financial reporting and analysis process
Reconciliation support for key financial deliverables
Support overall reporting requirements
Support Agile PMO Practices tool/reporting
Assist with ad hoc requests, special projects

**Basic Qualifications**:
Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills required
Strong administrative and organizational skills required, as is a focused attention to detail
A proven willingness to learn, a positive service attitude, and an ability to work in a fast-paced, high demand work environment
5-6 years’ experience working in a technical environment or with a technical organization preferred
Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, V-Lookups, Modeling) and PowerPoint
Ability to work independently and as a fully contributing member of a team
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to drive and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

**Preferred Qualifications**:
5years of vendor management or finance/accounting experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business, Technology, or Operations
Some knowledge of project management or project coordination preferred
Communicates Effectively - speak transparently, can adapt to your approach and your message to fit the audience
Analytics Reporting (e.g. Tableau) is a plus
Introduction to lean and agile methodologies would be a plus
