**Job Description: PRT Music Teacher**

**Position Title**: PRT Music Teacher

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:

- Develop and deliver a comprehensive music curriculum for primary students in line with CBSE guidelines.
- Plan and execute engaging music lessons that include singing, playing instruments, and understanding music theory.
- **Student Engagement and Development**:

- Encourage students to express themselves through music and nurture their musical talents.
- Organize and conduct school musical events, performances, and competitions.
- Provide individual and group instruction to enhance students’ musical skills.
- **Assessment and Evaluation**:

- Assess students’ musical progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for internal and external music examinations and competitions.
- **Classroom Management**:

- Maintain a positive and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students during music activities.
- **Collaboration and Professional Development**:

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music into the broader school curriculum.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- **Resource Management**:

- Maintain and manage musical instruments and resources.
- Ensure that all music equipment is in good working condition and properly stored.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Music or equivalent from a recognized institution. A degree or diploma in education is preferred.
- **Experience**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in teaching music at the primary level, preferably in a CBSE school.
- Experience in conducting school choirs, bands, or orchestras is an advantage.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments.
- Strong knowledge of music theory and music education pedagogy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate young students.
- Competence in using technology for music education.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
