Position Overview: The Photography Trainer is responsible for providing training and instruction to individuals or groups interested in developing their photography skills. The trainer will design and deliver comprehensive photography courses, workshops, and seminars to help participants improve their technical knowledge, artistic vision, and overall proficiency in photography. The role requires a strong background in photography, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and inspiring others.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop Training Programs:Design and develop comprehensive photography training programs suitable for participants of different skill levels, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced photographers.
Identify specific learning objectives, curriculum content, and instructional materials required for each program.
Create lesson plans, presentation materials, and hands-on activities to facilitate effective learning experiences.

Conduct Training Sessions:Deliver engaging and informative photography training sessions, workshops, and seminars to individuals or groups.
Provide instruction on various aspects of photography, including camera settings, composition, lighting techniques, post-processing, and other relevant topics.
Demonstrate practical techniques and offer guidance on equipment selection, use, and maintenance.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging participants to explore their creativity and develop their own unique style.

Assess Participant Progress:Evaluate the skill level and learning needs of participants, and provide individualized feedback and guidance.
Conduct regular assessments, exercises, and projects to gauge participants' progress and proficiency.
Offer constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement, helping participants refine their technical and artistic skills.

Stay Updated with Industry Trends:Stay informed about the latest developments, techniques, and trends in the field of photography.
Continuously update training materials to reflect industry best practices and emerging technologies.
Share relevant industry news, resources, and opportunities with participants to enhance their knowledge and professional growth.

Provide Support and Resources:Offer ongoing support, mentoring, and guidance to participants beyond the training sessions.
Recommend additional resources, such as books, websites, and online communities, to further participants' learning and networking.
Respond to participants' questions, concerns, and requests for assistance promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

- Extensive experience and expertise in photography, with a strong portfolio demonstrating technical proficiency and creative vision.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality photography training programs or workshops.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish a rapport with diverse groups of participants.
- Proficient in using a variety of photography equipment, software, and editing tools.
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for teaching and inspiring others.
- Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously.
- Flexibility to adapt training methods and materials to meet the needs of different participants.
- Bachelor's degree in photography, fine arts, visual arts, or a related field (preferred).

Contract length: 24 months
