Backup Administrator

Good Working knowledge on **Commvault backup Tool**.
- Good Knowledge in understanding the Issus and Trouble shooting skills finding RCA on the issues. Understanding and good knowledge on design and configuration (familiarity) Data protection and backup recovery solutions familiarity such as using virtual tape, disk to disk to tape, data replication Unix and/or Windows systems administration experience.
- Experienced in Windows and Unix/Linux server administration including routine patching in a Commvault environment. Knowledgeable in Commvault auditing, command line operations, logging and reporting features. Knowledgeable in TCP/IP and SAN, NAS, VTL, Netapp technologies Knowledge in handling databases backup and restores like, MS SQL, MySql, DB2, Oracle, Hana, Backups with VMs
- Configuring, Maintaining NDMP backups for various NAS technologies Configuring, Maintaining and Troubleshooting Database Backups & restorations.
- Perform all chargeback estimation, provisioning, and documentation tasks in a timely manner Produce regular reports for management, to assist in cost recovery, capacity planning and consolidation. Planning for Media rotation, Management and Offsite Movement Scheduling of New Backups/ Modifying existing Jobs.
- Installation, Configuration and Admin
- Ensure adherence to the published compliance frame work. Monitor by conducting periodic audits to ensure all compliance aspects are adhered to; Analyze and publish reports on the findings; discuss with the concerned stake holders and follow up on the clos
- To prepare business requirement documents for automation/enhancement of the Backup environment, lead pilot and testing efforts of a process rollout including preparation of training material and ensure that customer queries on a new process are responded to.
- Good Document writing skills and SOP preparation.
- Good Skills in Handling Incidents, Changes and Problem Management
- To independently resolve tickets and ensure that the agreed SLA of ticket volume and time are met for the team.
- To provide support for on call escalations or L3 level support and doing incident and problem management
- Work on value adding activities such Knowledge base update and management, Training freshers, coaching analysts and conducting interviews or participation in hiring drives.
- To adhere to quality standards, regulatory requirements and company policies
- To ensure positive customer experience and CSAT through First Call Resolution and minimum rejected resolutions or Reopen Cases.

Pay: From ₹22,000.00 per month
