**Title**:Specialist, JAVA J2EE architect team**

**Location: Bangalore**

**Your role**

Reporting to Manager IT, Java & Mobility architect team, you will be responsible implementing our organization's Java/J2EE efforts in close collaboration with other IT teams and business stakeholders. Your role will be critical in driving a user-centered design approach while ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
- Work closely with various business stakeholders to develop different programs and evaluate architectural alternatives and leverage cloud native services in a large global environment that supports both business and customer needs.
- Work with a global team to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- junior members in the team to deliver high quality systems and adopt newer integration services from ReactJS development.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Design/develop & Support solutions based on a strategic business and technical requirements.
- Selecting the appropriate services based on best practices of java development and implementations. Estimate costs and identify cost feasible options.
- Technical leadership in the full life cycle of the software environment. Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies.
- Adhering to the defined best practices for building secure and reliable custom development of integrations.
- Ensure delivered solutions meet/perform to technical and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Provide support and technical governance, expertise related to cloud integrations architectures, deployment, and operations.

Act as the coach and mentor to team members and technical staff on their assigned project tasks

**What you’ll bring**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
- Knowledge of business process re-engineering principles and processes
- Java/J2EE - strong knowledge
- Open liberty
- Spring/Spring Boot, microservices/api’s and ORM Tools (JPA or hibernate) SQL
- React/Node js, Vue js, or any javascript framework
- AWS cloud services
- Database - Oracle/Postgres

Soft Competencies:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills (content creation such as whitepapers, proof of concepts, patents, etc.). Ability to explain complex technology decisions to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels in the organization.
