Biology Teacher

**Position Overview**:
The Biology Teacher for JEE/IIT & NEET Standard plays a crucial role in preparing students for competitive entrance examinations in India, specifically the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical colleges. The primary responsibility of the teacher is to impart comprehensive knowledge of biology concepts and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills in students to excel in these highly competitive exams.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Curriculum Development:

- Designing and developing a comprehensive biology curriculum aligned with the JEE/IIT & NEET syllabus.
- Preparing detailed lesson plans, notes, and teaching aids to facilitate effective learning.

2. Classroom Instruction:

- Conducting engaging and interactive classes to explain complex biology topics.
- Encouraging student participation, answering questions, and addressing their doubts effectively.

3. Assessment and Evaluation:

- Creating and administering regular quizzes, tests, and mock exams to assess student progress and understanding.
- Analyzing student performance and identifying areas of improvement.
- Providing constructive feedback to students and offering personalized guidance to help them achieve better results.

4. Study Material Preparation:

- Developing study materials, including handouts, practice sheets, and reference materials, to support students' self-study.
- Recommending relevant textbooks and reference books for further learning.

5. Doubt Resolution:

- Being available for doubt-clearing sessions outside of regular class hours.
- Addressing students' queries and providing clarification on complex topics.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Biology or a related field.
- Experience in teaching biology, specifically to JEE/IIT & NEET Standard students, is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the JEE/IIT & NEET syllabus and examination pattern.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching and motivating students to achieve academic success.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

**Salary**: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Howrah, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 3 years (preferred)
