Chart Editor

**Position Title: Chart Editor**

**Exp: 1-3yrs**

**Location: Remote(Anywhere in India)**
- Process-oriented and sees tasks as a puzzle to be solved; you enjoy the structure of a checklist without sleepwalking through it
- Has a good working knowledge of statistics, survey methodology and data display best practices, as well as experience in leading projects.
- A quick learner and team player who is extremely detail-oriented, but able to zoom out and see the broader context.
- Able to effortlessly meet deadlines, work independently and excels at prioritizing work.
- A language expert with an excellent grasp of spelling and grammar, as well as a rigorous and critical mindset.

**Responsibilities**
- Proofread, edit and verify information in our charts for accuracy and consistency by using our internal style guide in order to publish error-free charts.
- Work with researchers, analysts and editors to ensure data accuracy, consistency and house style is applied
- Develop a full knowledge of the chart editorial process and be able to train others as needed
- Become familiar with Insider Intelligence’s coverage areas, scope and business goals to contribute to team goals

**Required Skills**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in an editorial/proofreading, data/analytics or data visualization role.
- Solid proofreading or copyediting skills.
- Working from a style guide (in-house or AP/Chicago/APA/etc.) and able to move forward improvements and changes to process inefficiencies.
- Knowledge of basic chart/graph styles, Excel-literate, Tableau a plus.

**Salary**: ₹105,070.03 - ₹500,387.53 per year
