**Qualifications**: Master’s /bachelor’s degree B.Sc. or M.Sc. in chemistry/physics/Material Science/polymer science/Industrial Chemistry or a related field.

**Experience**: About 1 years in maintaining of Computerized Mechanical/pilot Testing Instruments/Rheometers on polymers/Thermal Analyzers/FTIR and quality management, preferably in the field of rubber Testing Lab

**Other Skills**: Effective oral &written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Power Point and other related software essential for effectiveness on the job.

**CTC Range**: Rs.2.04 LPA-3.60 LPA

**Scope of work and responsibilities**:
1. Laboratory Coordination:

- Manage and coordinate activities in the Rubber Testing Laboratory.
- Ensure the efficient operation of equipment including H&D Tester, Rheometer, Money Viscometers, Universal Tester, FTIR, FTIR-EGA, TGA, DSC, etc.
- Oversee the implementation of testing protocols and procedures.

2. R&D Project Management:

- Collaborate with the R&D team to plan and execute projects related to rubber compounds and polymers.
- Coordinate with the laboratory and plant to conduct necessary tests for research initiatives.
- Play an active role in the development and optimization of rubber formulations.

3. Technical Expertise:

- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of rubber, polymers, and material science.
- Utilize analytical instruments for testing and analysis; additional knowledge of other analytical instruments is welcomed.

4. Reporting and Planning:

- Prepare comprehensive reports on testing activities and R&D projects.
- Work closely with the Director Technical and Chief Operating Officer to plan and implement testing schedules and R&D timelines.

5. Collaboration:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams within the company to achieve project goals.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory personnel and plant staff.

6. Site Visits:

- Visit the laboratory and plant facilities at Silvassa to oversee testing and R&D activities as per the requirement of project.
