We are currently expanding our BIM Team and are hiring for an experienced Smart Instrumentation (SPI) Administrator. Reporting to the BIM Department Manager, you will support projects across our global network of offices and can be based in any of these offices.
- In summary, the role is to provide SPI Database administrative support in a live projects environment, with multiple disciplines, across multiple locations. This role can be based at any of the PM Group Business Units in Europe or India.

**Responsibilities
**The activities you can expect to be involved in**
- Inputting to the Project BIM Execution Plan in developing the SPI executing plan.
- SPI Project set-up and support/admin for the Instrumentation group on projects across multiple offices to include:

- Load and Maintain Design Software and updates
- Create and maintain Oracle Database for each project
- Configure and manage Database security
- Establish and maintain Project Specific Access User Groups
- Develop and maintain database structure
- Establish system interfaces and maintain the database to ensure the project naming conventions are being adhered
- Liaise with Smartplant Admins to establish the P\A\U structure per Project to ensure integrity across the SmartPlant suite
- Manage System Specs/standards as per the BEP, including script writing and interface with software provider.
- Set up and maintain the system for Instrumentation and Digital Portal project deliverable production.
- Maintain database integrity and ensure database is synchronised with SPPID outputs.
- QA/QC for Instrumentation deliverables from SPI
- Trouble Shooting, problem solving and support to design team
- Licence control for SPI requirements
- Integrate Vendors/Third party Design Models and information
- Provide training to all SPI users in the group
- Assess upgrades to newer versions of SPI are internally tested and ensure PM Group requirements are maintained
- Maintained and develop PM Group SPI Project Seed File
- Communicating across multiple discipline teams
- Attending project meetings to review project progress or issues

**Qualifications
**To be successful in this role you will have experience in the follows areas**:

- SPI Database Administration, especially set-up
- At least 5 years’ experience as a SPI Admin essential.
- Excellent time management skills essential.
- Have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Other software’s such as Oracle DB/SQL, Smart Plant Foundation is desirable but not essential

**Additionally you will**:

- Enjoy and have been successful working as part of a team and independently
- Be able to manage your time successfully, maximize efficiency and meet deadlines
- Be a self-starter who pursues continued professional development in BIM software and processes
- Experience in managing teams desirable but not essential
