**Job Requirements for Dispatch Logistics**:
1. Educational Qualifications: - A high school diploma or equivalent is typically required. - A degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field may be preferred but not always mandatory.
2. Knowledge and Skills: - Proficiency in using computer software related to logistics and dispatch operations, such as transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems
(WMS), and GPS tracking systems. - Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize them effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges and optimize routes and processes. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members, drivers, and customers.
3. Experience: - Previous experience in logistics, dispatch, or transportation is often preferred.
- Familiarity with the specific industry the company operates in (e.g., retail, manufacturing, e commerce) can be advantageous.
4. Physical Requirements: - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations. - Possess physical fitness to perform tasks like loading/unloading packages and inspecting shipments.
Job Responsibilities for Dispatch Logistics:
1. Route Planning and Coordination: - Plan and optimize efficient delivery routes for drivers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. - Coordinate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and other relevant departments to streamline dispatch operations.
2. Order Processing: - Receive and process incoming orders from customers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information. - Verify product availability, packaging requirements, and special delivery instructions.
3. Dispatching and Tracking: - Assign delivery tasks to drivers, considering factors like location, capacity, and urgency. - Utilize tracking systems to monitor the real-time movement of shipments and provide updates to customers when necessary.
4. Customer Communication: - Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and other logistics-related inquiries. - Handle customer complaints and issues with professionalism and seek resolutions promptly.
5. Compliance and Documentation: - Ensure all required permits, licenses, and paperwork for transportation and deliveries are up-to date and in compliance with regulations. - Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, including delivery confirmations, driver hours, and mileage logs.
6. Problem Resolution: - Identify potential transportation issues and proactively implement solutions to prevent or minimize disruptions. - Handle unforeseen events such as traffic congestion, vehicle breakdowns, or adverse weather conditions with quick decision-making.

7. Cost Control: - Monitor fuel usage, vehicle maintenance costs, and other operational expenses to optimize dispatch efficiency and reduce unnecessary expenditures.
8. Safety and Training: - Promote a safe working environment by ensuring drivers adhere to safety protocols and traffic regulations. - Conduct training sessions for drivers to enhance their skills, knowledge, and awareness of safety procedures.
9. Performance Evaluation: - Regularly assess the performance of drivers and the overall dispatch operations to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
10. Continuous Improvement: - Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to continually enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of dispatch logistics.
**Salary Range:
- ** RS. 13,000 - RS. 35,000 depending on experience.
**Optional:
- PF and other benefits depends on final negotiation on salary during interview.**
