Role Summary

Oracle HCM / CX Automated Testers

For successful roll out of Oracle Fusion ERP within the organisation the role would be required to analyse business requirements and develop testing strategy and Selenium Test Environment. The role would require customization of Selenium in various integrations, Automation of various projects/frameworks, development of test automation scripts and execution of regression test scripts.

**Responsibilities**:

- The role might require to work in UK Shift (12.30 PM IST to 9.30 PM IST) or South America shift (2.30 PM IST to 11.30 PM IST) depending on the need.
- As part of the testing team, your primary role would be to create testing requirements, develop test strategy, review test plans, execute test cases and scripts.
- Develop project quality plans, validate defective prevention plans to deliver effective testing solutions.
- ensure right test environment is available and provide necessary review feedback for test data setup to ensure timely commencement of test execution.
- Evaluate the functional and non-functional requirements and use suitable cases for automation.
- Develop/build test automation strategy and focus specifically on maximising reusability for regression.
- Identify regression testing needs and create and maintain an Automated Regression Suite
- Provide test execution reports.
- Work closely with architects to analyse the end-to-end scenarios, gather requirements, and design the test cases that needs to be automated.
- Maintain automated scripts utilising the existing framework, adhering to coding standards.
- Suggest/explore alternate tools for automation to bring-in more productivity and coverage.
- Participate in troubleshooting and drive root cause analysis and resolution.

Key Competencies / Skills
- Test automation tool primarily using Java with Selenium
- Deep understanding in developing test scripts using tools like Selenium.
- Proficient in database fundamentals and exposure to complex SQLs. (Oracle/MySQL)
- Knowledge on source control management tools (GitHub, Jenkins)
- Knowledge with using Agile lifecycle management tools like Jira
- Comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
- Extensive experience in test planning/ test strategy, test estimates
- Excellent communication and client handling skills
- Experience in one or more scripting languages and automation tools
- Analytical, Client interfacing and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies
- Work experience on API transactions (PUSH API, SEARCH API and POST API)
- Knowledge and work experience on ERP Oracle Application e2e flow
- Knowledge on SQL Queries, able to write SQL Queries
- Knowledge on SOA services SOAP UI or Postman (Azure, OSB etc..)
- Possess end-to-end knowledge and experience in testing
- Proficient in MySQL/Postgres/Oracle/cucumber,
- Proficient in DevOps Jenkins, Java,
- Automation testing->SOA (API testing),
- Automation testing->Selenium, Automation testing

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Computer Applications or Engineering or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in the required skillset
