**Position description**:
The Key Account Manager SAMT is responsible for the overall performance of assigned Stand Alone Modern Trade accounts being handled. He/she assist in delivering the overall sales objectives, supervises, fine-tunes and monitors the execution and takes pro-active initiatives to cease every opportunity to increase the sales in accordance with the companies’ policies and strategies.

The Key Account Manager is to discuss and set clear targets and strategies for accomplishment of the same in alignment and track its fulfillment. The KAM is expected to draw short term and long term goals for a brand in the chain and drive the same as per the guidelines set by the brand team.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- 1) Planning and Negotiating strategic alliances with all chains
- 2) Strategize / execute zone specific brand objectives within budget and time
- 3) Liasoning with Marketing/ S&CM for branding activities at stores
- 4) To set clear guidelines to achieve results in terms of growth along with gaining market share
- 5) Develop & value add SAMT stores by training stores, doing consumer led activations to drive business and build consumer offtake
- 6) To achieve volume and value objectives of the assigned zones within budget, time and policy parameters through Efficient control of the network under charge.
- 7) To work coactively with all Brand Management Team to develop Consumer awareness /image / preference by Executing Planned Consumer Promotions & Events
- 8) Execute Marketing events and Promotional Programme by conducting brand-wise promotions basis the outlets / Marketing activity calendar.
- 9) Ensuring proper fill rates and range availability in all regions as per the guidelines and monitoring performance of the same at regular intervals
- 10) Maintain financial hygiene with the chain and ensuring timely payments and settlements as per the commitments

**Educational qualifications preferred**
- **Category**: Master's Degree, Professional Course
- **Field specialization**: Sales, merchandising and other allied operations

**Required work experience**
- **Industry**: FMCG / FMCD
- **Years of experience**: 3 to 6
