**Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging theatre lessons for students from primary to high school.
- Teach acting techniques, voice modulation, improvisation, script analysis, and stagecraft.
- Develop and direct student performances, including plays, skits, and musicals.
- Encourage student participation in theatre activities and build confidence in public speaking and performance.
- Collaborate with other teachers and departments for interdisciplinary projects or school events.
- Coordinate and oversee all aspects of school productions, including auditions, rehearsals, costumes, set design, lighting, and sound.
- Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel encouraged to express themselves.
- Provide feedback to students on performance and improvement areas.
- Stay updated on new trends and developments in theatre arts education and incorporate them into the curriculum.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and participation in theatre activities.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Theatre Arts, Performing Arts, Education, or related field.
- 3 to 5 Years of experience
- Prior experience teaching theatre or performing arts to children in a school or similar setting.
- Strong background in acting, directing, and stage production.
- Ability to plan and execute school performances.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Day shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Tripunithura, Kochi, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
