Data Scientist Associate

As a Data Scientist Associate at JPMorgan Chase, you serve as a member of an data science team to design and deliver trusted market-leading models in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical data analysis and model design and development across multiple areas, such as ML, NLP, OCR, etc., within various Wealth Management business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

**Job responsibilities**
- Executes data science solutions, data sourcing, data manipulation, analysis, model selection, feature selection, model development, and troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains models / algorithms
- Produces model design artifacts including test data sets to enable model governance
- Gathers, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations / UI integration of model output for user consumption
- Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive solutions
- Contributes to data science communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
- Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

**Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Applied AI/ML experience
- Solid understanding of ML Algorithms and its internals
- Overall knowledge of the Model Development Life Cycle
- Good understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security
- Ability to gather requirements and deliver models

**Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills**
- Model development experience on NLP and LLMs
