Position Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Guindy, Chennai

**Job Type**: Full-Time

Reports To: Director - Finance

**Salary**: 1.2 Lakhs to 1.8 Lakhs

Job Summary:
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to management.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.

2. General Accounting:

- Updating day-to-day accounting works in Accounting Softwares
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.

3. Compliance & Audit:

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
- Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

4. Taxation:

- Prepare and file tax returns (e.g., GST, TDS, corporate tax).
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and timely payment of taxes.
- Assist in tax planning and strategy development.

5. Financial Systems & Process Improvement:

- Utilize accounting software to maintain financial records and produce reports.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems and procedures.

6. Team Collaboration:

- Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Provide support and training to junior accounting staff.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

7. Miscellaneous:

- Stay updated with industry trends and accounting standards.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
**Education**:

- Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

**Experience**:

- Freshers and Maximum of 1 year of relevant accounting experience.

**Skills**:

- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally and other accounting softwares).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
