**Job Title: Waiter/Waitress**

**Location: Oishii Wok, Gurugram**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests promptly in a warm and friendly manner.
- Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and beverage.
- Take and serve food and drink orders and upsell additional products when appropriate.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their meals and service.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner.
- Set up tables by placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, decorations, and napkins.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and dining room.
- Issue bills and accept payment, handle cash and card transactions with integrity.
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner.
- Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience as a waiter or waitress.
- Hands-on experience with cash register and ordering information system.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system.
- Excellent presentation skills, ensuring each dish is presented according to the restaurant’s standards.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment.
- Active listening and effective communication skills.
- Team spirit and a customer-focused approach.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings.
- High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus.
