**Key responsibilities**:
Provide visionary leadership to promote academic excellence, innovation, and research across all departments and disciplines.

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the Mahaveer university's reputation, academic programs, and student experience.

Foster a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and collaboration among faculty, staff, and students.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.

Oversee budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to support academic and administrative functions effectively.

Build strong partnerships with industry, government agencies, and other educational institutions to promote research collaborations, internships, and employment opportunities for students.

Represent Mahaveer University in national and international forums, conferences, and academic networks.

**Remuneration**:
1.5 L to 2 L per month plus usual perks. (As per UGC norms.)
