**Overview**:
As a Quality Control Engineer for Highway, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety standards of highway construction projects. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the implementation of quality control measures, conducting inspections, and coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications. **Responsibilities**:

- **Quality Control Implementation**:

- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols for highway construction projects.
- Ensure adherence to industry standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Review project plans and specifications to identify quality control requirements and potential areas of improvement.
- **Inspection and Testing**:

- Conduct regular inspections of construction materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Perform quality control tests on materials such as asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for corrective actions as needed.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance documentation.
- Prepare comprehensive quality control reports for project stakeholders, highlighting findings, recommendations, and areas of concern.
- Communicate effectively with project teams to address quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
- **Quality Assurance Coordination**:

- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to establish quality assurance processes and objectives.
- Coordinate with third-party quality assurance providers to facilitate inspections and audits as required.
- Participate in project meetings to provide updates on quality control activities and address any quality-related concerns.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement within the quality control framework.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to highway construction and quality management.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality control or assurance roles within the construction industry, preferably with a focus on highway or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASTM, AASHTO, DOT).
- Proficiency in conducting quality control tests and interpreting test results (e.g., density tests, compaction tests, gradation analysis).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
- Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Certification in quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work in outdoor environments as necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
