**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to meet annual revenue goals.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential donors, including individuals, corporations, and foundations.
- Research and identify new funding opportunities, including grants, sponsorships, and partnerships.
- Write grant proposals, sponsorship letters, and other fundraising materials.
- Organize and manage fundraising events, campaigns, and activities.
- Maintain donor databases and records, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Collaborate with program staff to align fundraising efforts with organizational priorities and initiatives.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the leadership team on fundraising progress and outcomes.
- Stay informed about current trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy.
- Represent Atchayam Trust at networking events, conferences, and meetings to build relationships and promote our work.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in any or related field (such as Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or Communications).
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in fundraising or development, preferably in the nonprofit sector.
- Demonstrated success in meeting fundraising targets and securing grants or donations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate the organization's mission and impact.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to ethical fundraising practices and adherence to relevant regulations and guidelines.
