Plant Supervisor

The Organic Fertilizer Manufacturing Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the production process in an organic fertilizer manufacturing facility. This role involves managing a team of production workers, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and optimizing efficiency in the production process.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Production Oversight**:

- Supervise and coordinate daily manufacturing operations, including blending, granulation, and packaging of organic fertilizers.
- Monitor production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Optimize production efficiency and resource utilization.
- **Team Management**:

- Lead, motivate, and train production staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- **Quality Control**:

- Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the production of high-quality organic fertilizers.
- Conduct regular inspections and tests to monitor product quality.
- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
- Conduct safety training for production staff.
- Investigate and report any safety incidents.
- **Equipment Maintenance**:

- Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure proper functioning of production equipment.
- Schedule and oversee routine maintenance tasks.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor raw material and finished product inventory levels.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of raw materials.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate production records, including batch records, quality control reports, and inventory logs.
- Generate reports on production performance and efficiency.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., chemical engineering, agricultural science) or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a fertilizer manufacturing facility or similar industry.

- Familiarity with equipment used in fertilizer manufacturing.
