IT Integration Architect

H.B. Fuller is seeking an IT Integration Architect who is experienced in enterprise architecture, technical architecture, implementation strategy, deployment strategy, integration strategy with SAP, and data migration strategy. This is a new position added to the team and reports to the Senior Global IT Manager.

**PRIMARY DUTIES**
- Work with enterprise architects and senior leaders to create SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) implementation and maturity roadmaps and migration strategies.
- Lead architecture-related initiatives connected to SAP implementation projects involved design and implementation of SAP Cloud
- Provide guidance, conversion options as well as transitional architecture including S4 and ECC connections
- Leverage his / hers expertise in SAP BTP and architecture with SAP solutions prior to S/4HANA with focus on ECC and SAP NetWeaver Products (BW, Enterprise Portal, PI/PO and Solution Manager)
- Identify and solve complex business use-cases with components of BTP, especially services from SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics/Data Warehouse Cloud and SAP HANA Cloud.
- Lead integration architecture to ensure alignment between business strategy and delivery
- Guide and assist in defining integration patterns built using a reusable API ecosystem with microservices-driven framework, enabling both performance and cost optimization
- Partner with technical leaders to establish an API organization, API development methodology and selection of API technology components
- Guide implementation of API management using API management software to include API proxies, mashups, rate limiting, security, analytics, monetization, and developer portals
- Set best practices, standards, and metrics for API use
- Communicate technical and strategic insights from an integration standpoint to business leaders and stakeholders and focus on the expected outcomes
- Prepare to do significant competitive research and evaluation of enterprise technologies and vendor offerings to stay current
- Own and maintain the enterprise integration model to assure consistent and intuitive understanding of the service interactions and events that drive business
- Assure re-use of business services across solution domains
- Drive integration and real-time innovations across enterprise requirements
- Partner closely with security compliance teams to ensure exposure of business services are understood, aligned, and used appropriately across the enterprise
- Contribute to architecture services, guiding principles & standards and governance processes
- Provide expert advice to project teams on use of integration technology and integration best practices
- Assist with incident response, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution
- Oversee the standards of technology used.
- Partner with leaders of other disciplines to ensure proposed solutions align with information, technology, infrastructure, business, and security architectures
- Provide technical documentation, mentorship and cross-training to peers and team members. Act and be the in-house integration expert and maintain relationships with technical teams and technical community at large

**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum education required, with specialization as appropriate: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related majors
- 10+ years of experience in IT
- ** TRAVEL**:APPROXIMATELY 15% TRAVEL REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience as Integration Architect with specific experience in SAP PO & CPI and other SAP Cloud based integration services
- ** Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing required (resume in English required)**:

- Extensive experience in SAP BTP in particular Integration Suite
- A good understanding of the Microsoft Azure cloud
- Understanding of enterprise architecture, systems architecture, integration and data architecture standards, frameworks, and practices
- Knowledge of common system integration methods and technologies including reusable APIs, SOAP, JSON, business process automation and orchestration tools and software
- Experience with the implementation of continuous integration practices and tooling to support automated build, delivery
- Proven experience in managing relationships with vendors/consultants, IT teams and internal stakeholders
- Experience working with API’s and building an API ecosystem
- Excellent communication skills
- An interest in being a hands-on technical expert
