**In Punjab we** are mainly working with the domestic workers, Agriculture worker, Home based workers and Construction workers and take up their **Livelihood**, **health and other civic issues** **with the local authorities and getting them resolved**

**by community participation**. We are also working in connecting women and their families with the government. schemes.

**About the Work Profile-**

SEWA Punjab is looking for an Area Incharge who can work in community with the women covering urban areas of

**Areas for Intervention-**

Qila rehamatgarh and Jamalpura

**Skills and Qualification-**

1. Minimum graduate

3. She should be willing and able to travel to the areas assigned and Chandigarh.

4. She must have good communication skills

5. She must know how to use a smart phone.

6. She should have mindset for community work.

7. Prior field experience and credentials in the same field will be considered first

8. Have to be working six days a week and be comfortable with flexible working hours.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Regular meetings with women in mohallas to create a strong bond and trust and awareness.
- Solving their health and civic issues by acting as a facilitator and making them independent
- Developing and maintaining close relationship with the district administration.
- Membership coordination, membership growth, regular contacts and visits to members in the region, identifying their needs and establish flow of information with the head office.
- Identifying local resources and prepare a directory of the same for ready reference and availability at regional and state level.
- She will be in charge of implementation, and reporting of activities of area assigned and will be reporting daily and weekly to Assigned authority.
- All documentation must be completed fully for the outreach work to be considered completed. i.e. attendance, budget and bills and report performs must be filled properly.
- Any new initiative decided by SEWA Punjab to be done with the mobilized women will have to be done
- To identify new areas in the assigned district who requires intervention.
- Carry out any other duties as directed by the supervisor and required by the programme.

**Remuneration-**

Rs.8000-10000 per month depending on the work experience

Plus additional Travelling expenses will be provided.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Maler Kotla, Punjab: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- total work: 1 year (preferred)
