Installation: CCTV technicians are responsible for setting up the entire CCTV system, including cameras, monitors, cables, and other necessary equipment. They must ensure that the cameras are strategically placed to capture the desired areas and angles.

Configuration: Technicians configure the CCTV system, which involves setting up recording devices (DVRs or NVRs), configuring camera settings (resolution, frame rate, etc.), and ensuring the system is operational.

Maintenance: Regular maintenance is essential to keep the CCTV system functioning correctly. Technicians perform routine checks, clean camera lenses, and replace faulty components as needed.

Troubleshooting: When issues arise, such as camera malfunctions, connectivity problems, or recording errors, CCTV technicians troubleshoot and diagnose the problems. They may need to replace or repair equipment and connections.

Upgrades: As technology advances, CCTV technicians may be tasked with upgrading existing systems to take advantage of new features and capabilities.

Network Integration: In many cases, CCTV systems are integrated into larger security and network infrastructures. Technicians may need to ensure that the CCTV system works seamlessly within the broader network.

Security: Ensuring the security of the CCTV system itself is critical. Technicians must protect against unauthorized access to video feeds and system control.

Documentation: Keeping detailed records of the installation, maintenance, and repairs performed on the CCTV system is crucial for tracking the system's history and ensuring proper documentation for legal and compliance purposes.

Customer Support: Interacting with customers and addressing their concerns or questions about the CCTV system is part of the job. Technicians may also train clients on how to use the system effectively.

Compliance and Regulations: Staying up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations related to surveillance and privacy is important, as CCTV technicians need to ensure that the systems they install comply with these standards

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
