The professional will provide academic leadership for all aspects of the Master of Business Administration program including strategic planning, admissions and daily operations. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
**Academic Program Oversight**
- Will be responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction.
- Will be an active member of the Faculty Executive Board and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Faculty: it is expected that Heads of Department will carry functional responsibility for specific Faculty areas.
- To develop and sustain appropriate structures for management, consultation, decision-making and communication with staff and students.
- To create and exploit new opportunities for knowledge transfer activity in order to secure additional income streams and new areas of teaching and/or research.
- To contribute to University-wide initiatives in order to improve understanding and communication of this area.
- Works with Academic Unit Heads to schedule faculty for MBA class offerings
- Updates annually the Business Administration section of the graduate catalog
- Writes annual report for MBA Programs
- Creates program objectives, sets goals and reports outcomes
- Provides academic advising to students

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- **Master’s Degree in MBA and Ph.D., rank of Associate or Professor**:

- **Minimum 5 years of Experience as a HOD / Leadership role**:

- Experience teaching in MBA program or previous work experience with an MBA program
- Solid record of scholarship, teaching, and service
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with Department Heads, faculty, and staff, as well as with colleagues across the campus community
- Should have a very good understanding of the academic disciplines within the department
- Should have the ability to engage constructively with people
- Flexible and adapt to changing circumstances
- Should have knowledge on Accreditation process

**Salary**: From ₹100,000.00 per month
