The Packaging Assistant plays a vital role in the packaging and distribution process of products. Working closely with the packaging team, the assistant ensures that products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment. This position requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Packaging and Assembly**:Collaborate with the packaging team to assemble and package products according to company standards and guidelines. This involves tasks such as placing items in appropriate packaging materials, arranging products securely, and ensuring proper labeling.

**Quality Control**:Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products are packaged correctly and meet quality standards. Inspect packaging materials for damage or defects, and report any issues to supervisors for resolution.

**Inventory Management**:Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by tracking packaging supplies, monitoring stock levels, and communicating replenishment needs to the relevant personnel. Help organize and maintain a well-organized packaging area.

**Equipment Operation**:Operate packaging machinery, such as sealing machines, labeling machines, and shrink wrap equipment, safely and efficiently. Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment, report malfunctions, and assist in troubleshooting as needed.

**Safety and Compliance**:Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Comply with regulatory standards and company policies related to packaging, handling hazardous materials, and waste disposal.

**Team Collaboration**:Work closely with the packaging team, warehouse staff, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication. Assist in cross-functional tasks when necessary to meet production and shipping deadlines.

**Product Documentation**:Complete necessary paperwork, such as packaging records, production reports, and shipping documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Ensure all relevant information is recorded for traceability purposes.

**Continuous Improvement**:Suggest process improvements and contribute ideas for enhancing packaging efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall productivity. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to packaging techniques and safety protocols.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in packaging, assembly, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects.
- Familiarity with packaging materials, equipment, and safety protocols is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management tasks.

**Salary**: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
