Cinematographer

**We are searching for a passionate and talented Cinematographer to join our team and bring your visual storytelling expertise to life**

**About the Role**:
As the Cinematographer, you will play a key role in shaping the visual language of our productions. You will collaborate closely with the Director to interpret the script, develop the visual aesthetic, and execute stunning cinematography that elevates the story and captivates the audience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Pre-Production**:

- Read and analyze scripts to understand the tone, mood, and themes of the project.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop the shot list, storyboard, and camera plan.
- Scout and research filming locations.
- Select and test camera equipment, lighting setups, and lenses.
- Conduct camera tests and color calibration.
- **Production**:

- Operate the camera and oversee all aspects of filming, including framing, composition, focus, and exposure.
- Work with the gaffer and grip to create the desired lighting for each scene.
- Collaborate with the production designer and costume designer to ensure visual continuity.
- Communicate effectively with the Director and other crew members to ensure a smooth and efficient shoot.
- **Post-Production**:

- Work with the editor to review footage and make editorial suggestions.
- Participate in color grading sessions to ensure the final look of the film matches the artistic vision.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong understanding of film theory, lighting techniques, and camera operation.
- Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to translate scripts into compelling visuals.
- Creative and innovative approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in relevant camera systems, software, and equipment.

**Bonus Points**:

- Experience with different film formats (digital, film, etc.).
- Knowledge of pre-production and post-production workflows.
- Strong understanding of color theory and grading techniques.
- Experience working in various genres and styles.
