Job Description: Accountant (Fresher/1 year experience)

Job Location: Salem, Vallapady

Qualification: M.Com or related field

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:
Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.

Process financial transactions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.

Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting principles, standards, and regulations.

Provide support during audits and help in preparing audit schedules and reports.

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data and resolve any accounting-related issues.

Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in accounting regulations.

**Requirements**:
Minimum of a M.Com degree or a related field.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial calculations.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Prior experience in accounting (up to 1 year) will be an added advantage.
