Cashfree is backed by Silicon Valley investor Y Combinator, Apis Partners, State Bank of India (SBI) and was incubated by PayPal.

About the role:
As the Data Scientist-3 (Gen AI), you will:

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of generative AI models (e.g., GPT-based models, transformer architectures, GANs) to enhance the company's financial product offerings.
- Work closely with product managers to understand business needs and define AI-driven features that improve user experience, personalization, fraud detection, risk management, and data-driven decision-making.
- Continuously research the latest advancements in Generative AI and machine learning techniques, keeping the company at the forefront of AI innovation.
- Build and deploy machine learning models that enable predictive analytics, anomaly detection, and other AI-driven capabilities.
- Conduct rigorous experimentation and A/B testing to evaluate model performance and impact on business KPIs.
- Communicate technical findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment between AI capabilities and business goals.
- Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing within the team.

**Experience**:

- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, with a strong focus on Generative AI and machine learning.
- Previous experience in FinTech or related industries is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
