Import/Export EDI Executive (Experienced)
Key Responsibilities
- **EDI Management**:
- Set up and maintain EDI systems for importing and exporting goods.
- Ensure accurate and timely transmission of EDI documents (e.g., invoices, shipping notices, customs declarations).
- **Documentation Preparation**:
- Prepare and review import/export documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure all documentation meets legal and regulatory requirements for international trade.
- **Compliance**:
- Stay updated on import/export regulations and customs laws.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations, including tariffs and trade agreements.
- **Data Entry and Management**:
- Input and maintain accurate data in EDI systems and other databases..
- **Collaboration**:
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., logistics, finance) and external partners (e.g., freight forwarders etc.).
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the import/export process.
Skills and Qualifications
- **Experience**: Previous experience in import/export operations, logistics, or EDI systems is preferred.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in EDI software and document management systems.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and compliance.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to resolve issues related to documentation and EDI processes.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
