Tour Umbrella Agency is a leading travel agency specializing in providing exceptional travel experiences to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Ticketing Staff to join our team. As a Ticketing Staff member, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth ticketing operations for various travel arrangements. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate ticket bookings, handle customer inquiries, and ensure accurate documentation of travel details. **Responsibilities**:
- Manage ticketing operations, including issuing, reissuing, and canceling flight tickets, hotel reservations, and other travel arrangements.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to ensure accurate and timely ticket bookings.
- Assist customers in selecting the most suitable travel options based on their preferences, budget, and schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service by resolving ticketing issues, addressing complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of bookings, itineraries, and customer information using our internal systems.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as travel consultants and operations staff, to ensure smooth travel arrangements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, airline policies, fare rules, and other relevant information to provide accurate and reliable information to customers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations, while handling ticketing and customer-related tasks.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling travel products and services to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in travel and tourism or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in ticketing, reservations, or a similar role within the travel industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of global geography, airline ticketing systems, fare structures, and travel industry trends.
- Proficient in using computer reservation systems (CRS) such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
- Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Familiarity with relevant travel regulations and procedures, including visa requirements, travel insurance, and health and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and customer-centric attitude.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as required by the business needs.
**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
