RKSV Securities was founded by Ravi Kumar and Shrinivas Viswanath in 2009 and was soon graced by Kavitha Subramanian as the third co-founder in 2016. Backed by Ratan Tata, Upstox had raised $4 million in Series A funding in early 2016 that was led by Kalaari Capital. The Series B funding round scaled multifold and witnessed an investment of $25 million by US-based investment firm - Tiger Global Management in September 2019.

**Overview**:

- As an Invest-Copywriter at Upstox, you'll be responsible for crafting compelling and informative content related to - Mutual Funds, Gold, Bonds, Stocks, Fixed Income, FDs and more across multiple platforms. Your primary focus will be on educating retail traders and investors through actionable content.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create and review engaging content tailored to guide users in making informed investment decisions, focusing on existing products and educational material
- Stay updated with financial and economic news to create contextually relevant content
- Develop innovative communication strategies aimed at both new and existing investors
- Collaborate across teams to streamline and innovate educational and product-related content
- Identify content gaps and propose new ideas to enhance effectiveness
- Partner with the Social Media team for invest-related product campaigns
- Guide, assign, and oversee the content team's daily offerings, ensuring content accuracy and alignment with Upstox's quality standards
- Ensure produced content is clear, jargon-free, and grammatically sound

Cross-functional Work:

- Provide content support to Marketing, Activation, and Growth teams as required
- Lead outsourced content initiatives, coordinating with external agencies

Basic Requirements:

- A postgraduate degree in financial markets or financial journalism
- Minimum 5 years' experience in the Fintech space, particularly in investment and trading
- Preferred background in finance or economics; familiarity with diverse asset classes like Mutual Funds, Gold, Bonds, Stocks, Fixed Income, and FD
- Stay updated with finance, branding, marketing, and advertising trends
- Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills; proficiency in another language is advantageous
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meeting stringent deadlines.
- Experience in direct investing or trading in stocks is a plus
- Fundamental knowledge of Indian markets, economy, and personal finance
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in writing, advertising, or digital marketing.
- Fluency in Hindi and English
