**Job Summary**: The mechanical draftsman is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for our mechanical systems and components using (CAD) software. They collaborate closely with engineers and production team to translate design concepts into accurate and comprehensive drawings for manufacturing, construction, or installation purposes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Drafting**: Produce detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams based on engineering designs, specifications, and calculations.
- **CAD Proficiency**: Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) to create **2D and 3D** models of mechanical systems and components.
- **Technical Documentation**: Prepare technical documents and specifications to accompany drawings, including materials lists, dimensions, and tolerances.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with engineers, designers, production workers and other team members to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings and designs.
- **Review and Modification**: Review drawings for errors, inconsistencies, and compliance with standards, and make revisions as necessary.
- **Quality Assurance**: Ensure that drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations and avoid fouling.
- **Communication**: Effectively communicate with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to clarify requirements and address design issues.
- **Deadline Management**: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Stay updated on industry trends, CAD software advancements, and best practices in mechanical drafting.
