**Your Role and Responsibilities**
IT Specialist/Systems Management Specialist/WAS Administrator

These engineers have knowledge and skills in software and systems, and are responsible to analyze business needs, determine problems, advise, design, build, test, deploy, implement changes, and maintain information systems and ecosystems.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a senior infrastructure specialist in an Agile Project model.
- Demonstrated experience in a production support environment.
- Exposure to Automation Tools such as Ansible or Robotic Process Automation.
- Demonstrated communication skills in a customer facing environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Websphere Application Server (WAS).
- Install, configure and fixpak upgrade on IBM WebSphere Application Server v8.5.5 and v9
- Problem and performance troubleshooting on IBM WebSphere Application Server
- Knowledge in AIX and Linux Red Hat (filesystems, file permissions, sftp, ssh, vi, shell scripting etc)
- Experience on Vulnerabilities related with JVM and IHS.
- Maintenance and development of WAS/MQ Ansible playbooks.
- Advanced skills on IBM WAS configuration and deployment.
- WAS Clustering.
- Knowledge in IBM Content Manager v8 or IBM FileNet.
- Knowledge in IBM Websphere Commerce.
- Will perform on-call with other WAS and MQ admins (24x7 support).
- Incident and Change management using ServiceNow
- Knowledge with Dynatrace and Tivoli monitoring configurations and analysis.
- Knowledge with RHEL Open Shift

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Certification as a Java Developer
- Expertise in developing models and scalable Microservices components
- Worked on building integration flows on various Application Programming Interface (API) development platforms
- An authority on Cloud Native Application architecture, Docker’s and Microservices.
