Quality Checker

UK-based manufacturing company looking for a QC-Engineer, with 5+ Years’ experience creating/checking construction drawings using SOLID WORKS or equivalent software, and 3D modeling experience using SolidWorks. Experience in architectural 3D modeling is strongly preferred.

Special Skills/Abilities Needed:

- In-depth knowledge of SolidWorks 3D CAD software and DTP
- Theory of mechanical
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate and problem-solve effectively.
- Responsible for collecting required data and reports from departments like production, design, and QC.
- Responsible for sharing suggestions for improvement in design, QA process
- Read and understand engineering drawings
- Control documents and quality records
- Manage databases, reports, and document libraries
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of document control practices is helpful
- Good organizational skills and planning abilities
- Attention to detail - QA/QC experience helpful
- Customer service oriented - both internal and external
- Strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of PDM Solid works,

Responsibilities and Duties
- Model architectural trim products using SolidWorks
- Create 2D plans, elevations, and details including wall sections, connection, and framing details, etc.
- Develop drawing submittals and revisions for customer approval
- Error proofing of drawings
- Creating production models and first article inspection drawings.
- Generating first article reports for the drawings

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
Minimum:

- SolidWorks 2021/ Autodesk Inventor modeling, utilizing parts and assemblies - 5+ years exp.; Intermediate skill level
- AutoCAD 2010 or newer (Or DraftSight) drafting of building construction architectural details, creating drawing sets using sheet layouts in AutoCAD & solid works - 3 years exp.;
Intermediate skill level
- Interpreting U.K. construction materials, building practices, architectural, and structural construction drawings
- Microsoft Excel, Word - Intermediate skill level
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiar with modern computer hardware, software, and cloud-sharing services
- Minimum Education

Bachelor of Architecture, Civil engineering, or Mechanical engineering that meets the above qualifications

**Salary**: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
