The role sits within the Product Management team for Digital Workplace proposition area but is closely aligned to One Business transformation programme which is a key initiative to provide attractive and competitive products with an excellent customer experience through the development of new IT support systems and innovative features and pricing through Agile development methods. As a Product Owner within the product management team, you will be responsible for driving the product definition scope through the development lifecycle to provide early realisation of the value of products and product features. You will drive the prioritisation of the developments working closely with the product manager, developing plans and roadmaps, using your skills in the domain, product management and stakeholder management. Your focus will be the development of digital journeys for one or more of the products i.e Digital Voice for Business, Operator Connect, Global SIP, CpaaS, Inbound contact etc.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Work closely with a team of skilled engineers and the Product Manager to define product feature roadmaps.
- Take products through discovery, alpha, beta and live phases of development with the goal of making BT Business products and services simpler, easier and faster to use.
- Ensure the product feature backlog and priorities are appropriately documented and communicated across the programme.
- Contribute passion and enthusiasm for the product/capability and customers. This means being a champion for the customers’ needs so that the teams are able and inspired to help.
- Make sure the team is constantly doing the right thing, and has a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt, optimising unit costs, and providing maintenance and support.
- Be an active part of the wider product community working with other Product Owners to ensure features and functionality are aligned.
- Works with the wider team to elaborate Epics and Features, co-ordinating with the Solution Design team and other Product Owners.
- Works with the agile team and their end-to-end processes to create and agree Features to deliver Epics and prioritises these to achieve business objectives for specific Personas and Customer Journeys.
- Provide good backlog health by ensuring it is detailed appropriately, estimated where required and constantly refined and prioritised to provide early value to customers and BT.

- Digital Voice for Business
- Global SIP / UK SIP

- Voice ( Inbound and Outbound)
- Experience and understanding in product Lead to Cash (L2C) and Concept to Market (C2M) processes and their agile counterparts.
- Experience as a hands on Product Owner/ Product Manager or Business Analyst.
- Experience with and knowledge of agile methodologies.
- Experience with backlog management tools such as Jira/ Confluence.
