The Centre for Future Governance is seeking a talented and motivated Statistics Intern to support our research and data analysis initiatives. As a Statistics Intern, you will work closely with our team of researchers and analysts to collect, clean, analyze, and interpret statistical data. You will play a vital role in providing insights and recommendations based on your findings, contributing to the development of evidence-based policies and strategies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in data collection and database management, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Clean and preprocess large datasets to prepare them for analysis.
- Conduct statistical analyses using appropriate methodologies and software tools.
- Interpret statistical results and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with researchers and analysts to develop research methodologies and data collection instruments.
- Help design and implement surveys and experiments, ensuring proper sampling techniques and statistical validity.
- Support the development and maintenance of statistical models and forecasting methods.
- Assist in the preparation of research reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
- Stay updated on the latest statistical techniques, tools, and best practices.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as R, Python, or SPSS.
- Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing, and analysis.
- Familiarity with survey design, sampling techniques, and statistical modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Interest in public policy, governance, or related fields is a plus.

**Salary**: ₹5,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bengaluru, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
