**Responsibilities**:

- Contract Management:

- Draft, review, and vet contracts and agreements to ensure legal compliance and protect the interests of GoStops.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with external parties to secure favorable outcomes for the organization.
- Maintain a comprehensive contract database and ensure all contracts are properly executed and documented.
- Statutory Compliances:

- Identify, acquire, procure, and renew operational licenses and permits required for GoStops' operations.
- Stay updated on changes in relevant laws and regulations and ensure compliance with labor laws, taxation laws, and other statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement compliance measures and maintain records to demonstrate adherence to legal requirements.
- Consumer Disputes Resolution and Contract Negotiations:

- Interact with external parties, including customers and vendors, to resolve consumer disputes in a fair and efficient manner.
- Utilize strong interpersonal skills to negotiate terms and conditions that favor GoStops while maintaining positive relationships with external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to the organization on dispute resolution strategies and contract negotiation best practices.
- External Matters:

- Work closely with external legal counsels to handle legal matters related to trademarks, due diligence, and other relevant areas.
- Coordinate with external counsels to develop effective legal strategies and ensure timely resolution of legal issues.
- Monitor and manage external legal costs and budgets to optimize resources.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) is required; an additional Master's degree in Law (LLM) is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Legal Manager or similar role in contract management and legal compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, labor laws, and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and influence external parties.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
- Experience in handling consumer disputes and resolving them amicably.
- Familiarity with trademark matters, due diligence processes, and working with external legal counsels.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple legal matters simultaneously.
- Proficient in using legal software and tools for contract management and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
