Melting Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the team to achieve department objective and actively involve with the production team to attain the business plan targets.

Responsible for production planning, raw material, and consumables planning.

Maintain inventory as per minimum stock level model

Responsible for melting operations and to develop and improve standard operating procedure

Develop standard operating procedure for consumable inspection

Drive the team to achieve the cost reduction improvement projects.

Prepare the production reports and performance review reports.

Update stock levels in Axapta.

Co-ordinate with internal & external customers for improvement projects and powder development

Drive the team for the implementation and maintenance of Management systems like QMS, EMS and OHSA

Drive the systematic learning process for the temporary resources

Additional Duties

Accountable for inter-plant material transfer for all locations

Support R&D team for new product development.

Support marketing for product promotional activities and for business development

Qualifications, Skills & Abilities

Diploma with minimum of 3- 6 years of experience. Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in Metallurgy / Mechanical / Production engineering in process industries.

Having the experience in production planning and execution.

Having the ability to manage a team.

Having knowledge in induction melting operation and skills to prepare lining using the ramming mass material.

Having basic knowledge about powder metallurgy operations.

Having basic knowledge on 5S, Kaizen and productivity improvement tools.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Rotational shift
