Rugged Monolith Design Lab is a young practice based in Margao - Goa, looking for a Junior Architect to join the team. We are a small, but growing firm with a strong focus on design, currently working on a variety of exciting Residential, Commercial & Industrial projects. At Rugged Monolith Design Lab, we believe that great design doesn't have to be expensive. We strive to create beautiful, functional spaces that are affordable for the end user.

The junior architect will be responsible for assisting with the design and development of projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, as well as contributing to the firm's overall growth and success. We want to create a better future for everyone through collaborative work and design. Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and development of projects across various sectors
- Handle office pressure effectively and collaborate closely with team members
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution
- Uphold our commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing
- Contribute fresh ideas and perspectives to enhance project outcomes
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn design details and assist in preparing working drawings based on provided designs

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- Proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, and Excel is essential
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, illustration, or other rendering software is an advantage
- Understanding of design principles and the design process; familiarity with BOQ is advantageous
- Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

Additional Requirements:

- Minimum one-year commitment to the position
- Possession of a valid driver's license and the ability to drive or ride a bike
- Knowledge of planning and building regulations in Goa would be beneficial

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Margão, Goa: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
