Job Description for.NET API Developer
- **Strong understanding of**:
Development in Visual Studio.NET (VB & C#) - framework 4.5 and later

**Design and Development in.Net Core 6 with Entity Framework Core 6.0.x or later**

Writing Microsoft SQL queries as well as Oracle PL SQL

Windows Enterprise Operating Systems

Database connection methods (Oracle, SQL)

Design patterns and its practical use in API.

Designing and Developing API from scratch.

LINQ

Azure Integration Services (Azure Service Bus, Logic Apps etc.)

Using Azure Dev ops and creation of CI/CD pipeline

**Good understanding of**:
Networking technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).

Scripting (especially PowerShell)

VMWare / Virtualisation

SharePoint / Microsoft Dynamics CRM

SQL Server

Oracle

**Beneficial Exposure**:
Supporting technologies such as IBM WebSphere MQ and MSMQ.

Experience with ESB models and messaging technologies, specifically Mule Soft and / or BizTalk.

Online Banking, SWIFT (standards and products)

Demonstrable working knowledge of an Agile methodology, such as SCRUM, DSDM, SAFe etc.

**Personal Skills**:
Able to work with Development Lead and Senior Developer to help develop the team with some 3rd line support responsibilities.

Self-motivated/pro-active/someone who wishes to constantly develop their professional capabilities.

Ability to work in a close team with an appreciation of the values and ethics of the bank.

Ability to develop very effective working relationships internally with all departments across the bank.

Highly articulate, good command of English, both verbal and written, strong communication skills and presentation

Strong analytical & problem-solving skills

Strong documentation skills are essential.
