Blood Bank Technician

**Job Summary**: Responsible to collect the sample, carry out the test, provide results and issue blood or blood components as per requirements.
- Assist in Donor motivation activities
- Assist in donor room activities including assisting in apheresis procedures.
- Identifies and communicates abnormal test reports by alerting supervisory personnel and safe disposal of TTl reactive units as per BMW regulation.
- Understands blood bank methods, demonstrates knowledge of testing processes which includes donor screening, blood grouping, cross matching, IH testing, TTl screening.
- Organize work by matching blood requests with test tube labelling; sorting samples; checking labelling; logging samples; cross matching and reserving units ready for issue, keeping work surfaces clean and orderly.
- Performs blood component separation, labelling, quality control of blood components produced.

**Salary**: ₹18,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
